Mercedes-Benz W203
In March 2000 the second generation of C-class was presented. The exterior of the car resembles S-class W220. It has the same round body and the interior is much roomier due to more ergonomically designed package.
As its predecessor the car had many design options – standard Classic, luxurious Elegance and sporty Avantgarde. The car was known for its efficiency. Significant part of all the cars consisted of CDI diesel. Mercedes also was the first to use Common Rail technology for gasoline engines (CGI).
In 2001 estate car S2003 appeared. All in once a 3-door liftback CL203 Sportcoupe was presented. AMG models of flagship cars initially were РЎ32 (V6), but in 2003 tuner presented the first (and so far the only) diesel option of C30 CDI (I5). However in 2005 the model discontinued the line. In 2004 was replaced by more powerful РЎ55 (V8).
