Mercedes C Class

The launch of cars Mercedes C-Class began in 1993 with the model 190 (W201), which later won the popular name of  “Baby Benz” for their small sizes.  Later, 190 (W201) was removed from the C-Class and began to position themselves between the ruler E-Class and S-Class.

The first model was the Mercedes C-Class W202, which was produced from 1993 to 2000. The model some added to the size, but even to the size E-Class model was not appropriate. But later, this feature and was included in the line of comfort class.

The second model the C-Class was W203, which started its production in 2000 and continued until 2007. The model is fundamentally different from its predecessor, especially in design. Body styles has three versions: 2-door coupe, 4-door sedan, 5-door station wagon. In the first model, see 7-speed automatic transmission. The wheelbase was 2,715 mm. The size of W203 still more like a compact class, rather than comfort class – many car owners said that in the car as a bit crowded.

The last date a model in the line Mercedes C-Class was the W204, which is available from 2008. By design, the car was totally different from their predecessors. A new radiator grill, new front bumper, racing suspension – all this gives the new W204 sports a characteristic appearance. In 2008 also appeared a model C63 AMG, which had excellent speed characteristics, reminding more than a racing class cars.
